Hey, I really like what you are doing with your brand, mad respect! I was wondering how exactly did The Blonde Locks get started? Also, do you have any advice for a female trying to work in a male dominated industry?

Anywayyysssss….I sorta stumbled into The Blonde Locks. I was modeling for a few mens streetwear brands and saw an opportunity. I have always been a girl who runs with the boys and I was positive that there had to be other girls like me, sexy tough cute girly but still a little soft.
So I spoke with a few people who I think rule the streetwear industry, got a lot of great advice and support, and then I just started making things I wanted to wear.
Now here I am hustling tee shirts on the daily.
So many people are trying to do the clothing thing….my advice would be to have something to offer that sets you apart, believe in yourself and your brand, don’t hook up with all the hot dudes at the trade shows, don’t let people bring you down by saying how tough it is, and get a thick skin.
Its not easy…but like anything that is awesome in life…you have to fight for it.
